Description
You will lead the development and implementation of long-term strategic EHS systems and programs focused on behavior-based safety, risk assessment, environmental sustainability, and associate health.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate Job Safety Analysis, Hazard Assessment, Hearing Conservation, Industrial Hygiene sampling, fire protection, LOTO, and environmental reporting programs.
- Provide strategic guidance to the site Leadership Team regarding regulatory compliance and EH S objectives.
- Conduct safety validations of all new or modified equipment and processes.
- Investigate unsafe conditions, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Manage the resolution of EH S audit findings and serve as the plant liaison to the corporate EH S office.
- Establish, maintain, and communicate EH S metrics to evaluate program performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in EHS management or a related safety leadership role.
- Proven experience developing and implementing EH S systems and programs.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA and EPA reporting requirements.
- Experience with Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and hazard identification.
- Ability to manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) programs and effectiveness evaluations.
- Experience leading safety audits and managing audit resolutions.
- Bachelor's degree required.
