Description

You will design and maintain search solutions for e-commerce text search using the Elastic Stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines to create search indexes from databases, Pub/Sub, and files.
• Implement ranking changes and algorithms to improve search relevancy.
• Enhance search relevancy, web search infrastructure, and system performance.
• Build extraction and classification techniques for unified product catalogs and search history.
• Deliver personalized content products to users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Elastic Cloud in large-scale applications.
• Proven expertise in Elasticsearch queries specifically for e-commerce text search.
• Experience in the e-commerce domain.
• Technical background in Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, or Natural Language Processing.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL solutions (Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
• Ability to work on-site in Irvine, CA.
