Description

You will manage and enhance SQL Server environments to support critical database operations in Richmond, VA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale databases, including backup, recovery, and encryption processes.
• Maintain high availability using SQL Server Always On availability groups and SQL Listeners.
• Optimize database performance through indexing and routine maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical solutions for SQL Server maintenance and system enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in SQL Server management.
• Proficiency with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Hands-on experience with Always On availability groups and SQL Listeners.
• Experience managing large databases with a focus on encryption and recovery.
• Knowledge of Lucene and Elasticsearch for high-availability indexing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
