Description

You will design high-reliability power electronics for aerospace and ground vehicle systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design DC/DC and AC/DC power electronics (20W–500W) for severe operating environments.
• Execute circuit design tasks including part selection, schematic capture, and PWB creation.
• Conduct performance analysis and simulation for power conversion systems.
• Perform design verification testing and support control software integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of power conversion design experience.
• BSEE or equivalent technical degree.
• Expertise in switching converter topologies: Buck, Boost, Flyback, Forward, Push-Pull, Half-Bridge, Cuk, and Sepic.
• Experience with magnetics design and electronic power devices (MOSFETs, Schottky Diodes, IGBTs).
• Strong understanding of control loop analysis.
• Proficiency with design analysis tools such as PSPICE and MathCad.
• Knowledge of DO-160 standards.
• Experience with digital designs and control software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with synchronous rectification multi-phase converters, resonant converters, or current fed converters.
• Experience with radiation hardened, SEE immune design applications.
