Description

You will design and release electrical wire harness systems for aerospace applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and release detailed conceptual wiring diagrams.
• Define wire bundle definitions, routing, cable forms, and electrical integration.
• Implement EMC segregation routes and EMI protection based on signal types and distance requirements.
• Calculate wire and cable sizing to meet aircraft environmental, signal, current, and voltage requirements.
• Select appropriate connectors and backshells for electrical systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in electrical wire harness design and routing for aerospace.
• Proficiency with Zuken software for wire harness design.
• Experience with wire bundle definition and cable form design.
• Deep understanding of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) segregation.
• Expertise in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) protection implementation.
• Knowledge of wire/cable selection based on signal type, current, voltage, and aircraft environmental requirements.
• Ability to define and select connectors and backshells.

Preferred Skills

• Support technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, and supportability analyses.
