Description

Design and configure complex building control systems based on contract documents. Own the full design lifecycle from concept to construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create flow diagrams, sequences of operation, bills of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics.
• Develop system designs including controlled zones, user interface devices, and control equipment.
• Review and validate high-level designs, single line diagrams (SLD), and bills of quantity (BoQ).
• Perform technical reviews of IFC drawings, contractor submittals, design calculations, and shop drawings.
• Execute electrical design calculations for load, circuit breakers, panels, feeder cable sizing, and voltage drop.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit 3D BIM modeling.
• Experience with Visual Control (VC) for design simulation.
• Expertise in electrical design calculations including short circuit analysis and maximum demand load.
• Ability to prepare technical specifications for transformers, UPS, switchgear, and LV/HT cables.
• Knowledge of lighting control systems, including wired and wireless PoE and DALI.
• Familiarity with Revit add-ins such as SysQue, DM Electric, and Layout Fast.
• Competency in photometric design using DiaLux 4.12.
• Understanding of compliance standards including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC, and Title-24.
