Description
You will produce and maintain technical drawings and documentation for power and utility infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Create, revise, and maintain engineering drawings, sketches, and record documents.
- Support the development of construction, equipment, and property documentation.
- Extract technical requirements from field notes, sketches, marked drawings, vendor catalogs, and site visits.
- Perform mathematical calculations necessary to complete assigned engineering tasks.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with design software.
- Ability to interpret technical reference manuals and vendor catalogs.
- Associate degree in applied science (AAS) in drafting, CAD, or electrical/civil/mechanical engineering technology with 1-2 years of experience, OR High school diploma with 6 years of experience in electric utility or industrial drafting.
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design.
- Hold an associate degree or equivalent technical training.
