Description

You will lead electrical design and technical calculations for small to medium and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical plans and specifications for power distribution, lighting, communications, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Perform technical electrical calculations, including short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Execute AutoCAD tasks for electrical design drawings and conduct site investigations to identify existing conditions.
• Select and specify electrical components such as motor control centers, switchgear, and transformers.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and code enforcement officers to ensure compliance and project alignment.
• Review shop drawings and assist with general construction services and cost estimation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related electrical engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent directly related experience).
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Expert knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and engineering design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and design drawings.
• Experience with power analysis and electrical design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform domestic and/or international travel as required.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with SKM Power*Tools or similar electrical system analysis software.
