Description

Design and validate embedded hardware systems with a focus on Thread and Matter wireless connectivity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design microcontroller-based circuits and PCBs for embedded electronics products.
• Implement and integrate wireless protocols, specifically Thread and Matter, alongside BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and 802.15.4.
• Manage the complete electronics product development lifecycle, including hardware bring-up, validation, and system-level testing.
• Maintain Electronics BOM Lifecycle Management using tools like Silicon Expert or IHS.
• Apply DFx practices for PCB assembly and production testing while collaborating with firmware and manufacturing teams.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of embedded hardware or electronics design experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Thread and Matter wireless connectivity standards.
• Proficiency in microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded hardware architecture.
• Strong understanding of communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART/Serial, USB, CAN.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, validation, and system-level testing.
• Knowledge of DFx practices for production testing and assembly.
• Ability to manage BOM lifecycle using Silicon Expert or similar IHS tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Altium Designer for PCB layout and design.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, or C# for test automation scripts.
• Familiarity with Windchill PLM and regulatory standards (FCC, UL, CE, ETSI).
