Description

You will design 3D electrical harness routing and definition models within the Aero Seating Domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Electrical System Installation (ESI) and Integration for aircraft seating and front row monument programs.
• Create and update 2D documentation for electrical schematics, block diagrams, and harness component details.
• Ensure all designs and drawings adhere to applicable guidelines and internal design standards.
• Define and coordinate electrical and mechanical interfaces with system manufacturers, departments, and approval bodies.
• Assist manufacturing and assembly during prototype, pilot, and production phases.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Electrical Harness design.
• Hands-on experience with PLM tools.
• Experience designing and developing electrical systems for aerospace or automotive domains.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 workbenches, including Generative shape design, Part design, Assembly, Drafting, and Generative sheet metal.
• Ability to perform manual routing according to customer process and standards.
• Experience in customer technical interaction and conducting quality reviews.
• Knowledge of electrical schematic and block diagram creation.

Preferred Skills

• Good written and oral communication skills to convey technical information clearly.
