Description

You will develop mathematical solutions for AC+DC loadflow equations and implement solvers on GPU hardware.

Responsibilities

• Identify recent developments in grid-modelling theory.
• Find creative solutions for AC+DC loadflow equations.
• Implement loadflow solvers on massively parallel hardware (GPUs).
• Publish scientific findings based on developed knowledge.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of AC+DC steady-state grid analysis, including Newton-Raphson and Helm methods.
• Expertise in Load Flow and Grid Computing.
• Strong academic background in mathematics and electrical engineering.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Energy Modeling systems.
• Experience with parallel programming patterns and GPU hardware.
• Language skills in German, Dutch, or French.
