Description

Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through manufacturing, commissioning, and closure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all project phases including scope development, written specifications, and bid solicitations.
• Design and develop electrical control solutions to improve process efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Lead PLC/HMI and controls redesigns and upgrades for existing processes.
• Troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment and incorporate SMART Manufacturing principles into automated inspection.
• Partner with multi-discipline technical staff, maintenance, and production to resolve process and equipment issues.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing, installing, and maintaining electromechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives, and motors.
• Proficiency with Rockwell programming software, specifically RS Logix and Factory View.
• Ability to use PI Vision and Data Link to analyze process issues.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with shop floor staff and plant leadership.

Preferred Skills

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with measuring devices and ethernet cameras.
• Proven success as a project implementation manager handling budgets and schedules.
