Description

 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate electrical systems for new manufacturing equipment and plant expansions.
• Develop and review electrical layouts, wiring plans, schematics, panel designs, and equipment specifications.
• Support installation and wiring of production equipment, control panels, motors, drives, and related electrical systems.
• Lead or support electrical startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and equipment turnover to operations.
• Work with contractors and vendors to ensure electrical installations meet project requirements and applicable codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical power, controls, and equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, company electrical standards, and applicable safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment.
• Experience with electrical planning, equipment installation, wiring, commissioning, and startup.
• Understanding of electrical power systems (including low and medium voltage).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-lines, wiring diagrams, and equipment drawings.
• Experience working with motors, VFDs, MCCs, control panels, and industrial electrical equipment.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E requirements.
• Experience coordinating contractors, equipment suppliers, and cross-functional project teams
