Description

You will design and coordinate electrical systems for plant construction and equipment packaging.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Generate electrical schematics, diagrams, and drafting documentation.
• Perform panel loading calculations and balancing for load centers, panelboards, and switchboards.
• Size wires, cables, conduits, and trays based on project requirements.
• Compose Bills of Materials (BOM) and review job submittal packages.
• Provide technical direction to draftspersons and coordinate with shop and field personnel to ensure safety compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, including AutoCAD Electrical.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD, Revit MEP, or similar 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.
• Experience with electrical equipment including generators, switchgear, and systems.
• Ability to interpret contract specifications and electrical drawing packages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working on multiple discipline projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with emergency power generation and switchgear installation.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU, or Schneider equipment.
• Experience with structural steel building fabrication and electrical equipment packaging.
