Description

You manage electrical design reviews and technical execution for brownfield projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews and apply Professional Engineer (P.Eng) stamping on applicable design documents.
• Execute field verification to ensure deliverables and solutions align with actual as-built site conditions.
• Coordinate project execution by working with site Project Managers and the engineering team in India to resolve technical roadblocks.
• Facilitate project review, engineering design, and 3D model review meetings.
• Manage technical documentation including Single Line Diagrams, load lists, specifications, schematics, wiring, and cable schedules.

Required Skills

• Alberta certified Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of electrical equipment including Transformers, MCC, Breakers, Panels, and Substations.
• Experience executing brownfield projects.
• Proficiency with Siemens equipment and systems.
• Ability to manage FEED and Detailed Engineering project scopes.
• Working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation disciplines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Control Panel Engineering.
