Description

You will design and implement electrical systems for aerospace applications, focusing on EWIS and avionics connectivity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Avionics Cable Harness Assembly, installation, and manufacturing processes.
• Execute component selection based on specific engineering requirements and technical specifications.
• Manage design releases and participate in formal design reviews.
• Oversee bonding and grounding for terminals, interfaces, and connector applications.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering within the aerospace sector.
• Expertise in Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) and harness manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experience with PDM, REDARS, and Mentor Graphics Capital Logic.
• Working knowledge of IRMs, ARMs, ERMs, Velocity System, and DOORS.
• Experience with composite and metallic components.
• Solid understanding of seal/unsealed bonding and grounding.

Preferred Skills

• Background in manufacturing engineering.
