Description

You will lead electrical design for multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for new construction and retrofit projects, including 3D models and construction drawings.
• Develop and audit basis of design, construction specifications, and system study reports like short circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies.
• Perform value engineering and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and installation proposals.
• Manage electrical design, procurement, and installation schedules to meet production targets.
• Review contractor field observation reports and conduct periodic field investigations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building-related design projects.
• Experience with ground-up manufacturing facilities, data centers, or university campuses.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
• Ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
