Description

You will design and support electrical systems for semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable harness designs using Pro/ENGINEER (Pro-E/Creo).
  • Manage change control processes including ECO, ECN, VPR, and QN workflows within Agile PLM and Windchill.
  • Provide onsite build support to troubleshoot wiring, connector pinouts, interlocks, and power distribution.
  • Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Fishbone, or 5 Whys to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with assembly teams to resolve design-for-manufacture (DFM) and design-for-service (DFS) issues.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, including cable harnessing, wire routing, and connector selection.
  • Proficiency with Pro-E/Creo for schematics and harness drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile PLM and Windchill for configuration management.
  • Expertise in reading, redlining, and maintaining engineering drawings with GD&T awareness.
  • Practical knowledge of grounding, shielding, and safety interlocks.
  • Proven ability to manage ECO, ECN, VPR, and QN workflows.
  • Strong technical communication skills for interacting with shopfloor teams and engineering stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems, gas boxes, or RF/power distribution.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI, safety standards (UL/CE), and industrial connectors.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, design validation, and vendor first article inspection (FAI).
