Description

You will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems for data center builds and expansions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical system design meetings and feasibility studies for new builds.
• Assist in the installation and implementation of PDUs, UPS systems, cooling units, and critical infrastructure.
• Support maintenance scheduling and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Analyze and forecast power needs based on current and projected IT loads.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to support projects from conception through commissioning.

Required Skills

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• 2–4 years of experience in data center operations or electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of data center electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, generators, and UPS systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and SKM.
• Understanding of industry standards such as Uptime Institute Tier Standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
