Description

You will lead hardware design and development for automotive battery management systems and power electronics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB and PCBA hardware, including schematic drafting and layout using Altium.
• Perform functional safety analysis using DFMEA, Worst Case Analysis (WCA/WCCA), and ISO 26262 standards via DOORS.
• Execute board bring-up, prototype hardware construction, and hands-on debugging.
• Conduct laboratory testing and validation using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and digital multimeters.
• Manage component selection and circuit analysis for analog and digital systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hardware design experience with at least 5+ years focused on automotive circuit design.
• Expertise in Altium for schematic and PCB layout design.
• Deep knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and power electronics.
• Proficiency with communication protocols including CAN, LIN, SPI, and I2C.
• Experience with Vector tools for CAN/LIN communication.
• Strong background in EMI/EMC mitigation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform functional safety analysis (FuSA) and DFMEA.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscope, and Function/Signal Generators.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers, Op Amps, and analog/digital circuit design.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor or Post Graduation in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
