Description

You will design, validate, and ship high-reliability electronics for electromechanical systems, taking hardware from schematic to manufacturable production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design multilayer PCBs and power electronics, ensuring signal/power integrity for motor drives and compute systems.
• Develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits, including current sensing and gate drivers for BLDC actuators.
• Implement communication interfaces (CAN, EtherCAT, SPI, I2C) for robust system-level debugging and integration.
• Execute design-for-manufacturing strategies, collaborating with contract manufacturers to scale from prototype to volume.

Required Skills

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping electronics for robots, drones, EVs, or medical devices.
• Expertise in schematic capture and layout using Altium, KiCad, or Cadence/OrCAD.
• Deep knowledge of power distribution, DC-DC conversion, battery systems, and motor drive electronics.
• Hands-on proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bench supplies for system-level debugging.
• Fluency in C/C++ for embedded firmware and board bring-up (STM32 or similar).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing and functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508).
• Background in high-speed digital design, FPGA integration, or thermal design for dense power electronics.
