Description

You will execute hardware testing for standalone and integrated power systems, including PSUs, BBUs, and rack power configurations. Debug issues and collaborate with vendors to resolve technical discrepancies. Integrate power hardware with data center tools for health monitoring and event alerting. Manage power lab operations, including equipment calibration, repairs, and new equipment installation. Coordinate lab supply stocking to support ongoing testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware testing on standalone PSUs, BBUs, integrated shelves, and rack power systems following defined test plans.
• Debug issues and collaborate with PSU and BBU vendors to resolve technical discrepancies.
• Integrate power hardware with data center tools for health monitoring and event alerting.
• Manage power lab operations, including equipment calibration, repairs, and new equipment installation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in switching power supply testing or validation of power bricks for Server, Storage, or Network switches.
• Proficiency operating lab equipment including oscilloscopes, AC sources, DC loads, and power analyzers.
• BS Electrical Engineering degree (BSEE).

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience in power supply design.
