Description

You will lead electrical design for multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and audit basis of design, construction specifications, drawings, 3D design models, and submittals.
• Execute electrical engineering system studies including short circuit, load flow, and arc flash reports.
• Perform value engineering and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and installation proposals.
• Coordinate with project control teams to manage electrical design, procurement, and installation schedules.
• Review field observation reports and conduct periodic field investigations of electrical contractors.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building-related design projects.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE codes and standards.
• Proficiency in 3D design and technical drawings.
• Ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or petrochemical plant design.
