Description

You will manage electrical building system startups, commissioning, and construction administration for industrial facilities in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate electrical building system startups and commissioning activities.
  • Review product submittals, shop drawings, engineering designs, and contractor RFIs.
  • Coordinate equipment factory testing, delivery, installation, and handover with vendors and contractors.
  • Oversee electrical contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Manage weekend and plant shutdown work coordination with facilities and manufacturing groups.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in electrical design.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction management.
  • Extensive knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IBC, ASME, AMCA, ARI, AWS, ASHRAE, and FM.
  • Deep understanding of OSHA requirements, including Lock-Out, Electrical Safe Work Practices, and arc flash safety.
  • Experience in design criteria development for electrical systems and industrial construction.
  • Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities, or similar industrial manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with Bluebeam.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD.
