Description

Lead electrical design for multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects in South Carolina.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Develop and audit basis of design, construction specifications, drawings, 3D design models, and system study reports including short circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies.
• Perform value engineering and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and installation proposals.
• Coordinate with project control teams to manage electrical design, procurement, and installation schedules.
• Review field observation reports and conduct periodic field investigations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building-related design projects.
• Proficiency in electrical design and 3D design.
• Experience producing construction drawings and models.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate technical material to cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or petrochemical plant design.
