Description

You will design, implement, and validate solar power electronics, automation, and embedded hardware systems in St Paul Park, MN.

Responsibilities

• Design, manufacture, and test printed circuit boards from bring-up through validation.
• Perform electrical drafting and maintain schematics for system designs.
• Select and implement power-related components and assemblies to meet specific requirements.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to develop electronics for electrical and thermal power systems.
• Build electrical hardware systems for prototyping applications.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to read and create electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of power systems and industrial control systems.
• Experience selecting hardware components to meet diverse specifications.
• Familiarity with design version control tools such as Git and PDM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different disciplines and deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD, Altium Designer, or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Knowledge of UL/NEC 508A standards.
• Experience with automation controls and single/multiphasic high power or high voltage systems design.
