Description

You will design, implement, and support solar power electronics, automation, and embedded hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, manufacture, test, and validate printed circuit boards and embedded hardware.
• Develop, debug, and support power electronics, automation, and control systems.
• Create electrical drawings and maintain schematics for system designs.
• Select and implement power-related components and assemblies to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to develop software and electronics for electrical and thermal power systems.

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to read and create electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of power systems and industrial control systems.
• Experience building electrical hardware systems for prototyping applications.
• Ability to select hardware components to meet diverse specifications.
• Familiarity with design version control tools such as Git and PDM systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical Drafting, Altium Designer, or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Knowledge of UL/NEC 508A standards.
• Experience with automation controls and single/multiphase high power or high voltage systems design.
