Manage electrical maintenance, machine reliability, and technical problem-solving for plant equipment in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Analyze breakdown data to improve machine efficiency and performance.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Manage vibration and infrared analysis programs, including staff training.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.
- Develop spare parts lists and assist in sourcing and ordering components.
Required Skills
- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng) or currently registered with PEO.
- Licensed electrician in the province of Ontario.
- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Engineering Specialist.
- Expertise in Omron PLC programming.
- Proficiency with Siemens PLC, AB PLC, and Fanuc CNC controls.
- Experience with ABB and other robotic systems.
- Competency with electrical presses and leak testers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
