Description

Manage electrical maintenance, machine reliability, and technical problem-solving for plant equipment in Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze breakdown data to improve machine efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct failure analysis and implement recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage vibration and infrared analysis programs, including staff training.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.
  • Develop spare parts lists and assist in sourcing and ordering components.

Required Skills

  • Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng) or currently registered with PEO.
  • Licensed electrician in the province of Ontario.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Engineering Specialist.
  • Expertise in Omron PLC programming.
  • Proficiency with Siemens PLC, AB PLC, and Fanuc CNC controls.
  • Experience with ABB and other robotic systems.
  • Competency with electrical presses and leak testers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
