Designed, developed and validated Gate Driver Boards (GDB), Power Boards, protection circuits and supporting electronics for high-power inverter applications using IGBT and SiC power devices.
Performed hardware bring-up, Double Pulse Testing (DPT), switching characterization, thermal testing, fault testing and validation using oscilloscopes, differential/current probes, thermal cameras and power analyzers.
Analyzed switching waveforms, gate signals, current sharing, voltage overshoot, protection responses and conducted root cause analysis to resolve inverter, gate drive and power module issues.
Reviewed schematics, simulations and PCB layouts to ensure electrical performance, reliability, manufacturability and compliance with design requirements while implementing design changes and documentation releases.
Developed validation plans, test procedures, engineering reports and supported prototype builds, production issue resolution, supplier coordination and contract manufacturing activities.
