You will lead electrical design for multi-discipline new construction and retrofit projects.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Develop and audit basis of design, construction drawings, 3D design models, and system study reports including short circuit, load flow, and arc flash studies.
• Perform value engineering and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment and installation proposals.
• Collaborate with project control teams to manage electrical design, procurement, and installation schedules.
• Review contractor field observation reports and conduct periodic field investigations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building-related design projects.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
• Experience with 3D design and construction models.
• Ability to perform electrical engineering system studies (short circuit, load flow, arc flash).
• Strong project management and organizational skills to prioritize complex workloads.
• Effective communication skills for presenting technical findings to cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in battery manufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or petrochemical plant design.
