Description

You will own the design, development, and release of electrical systems for various products.

Responsibilities

• Finalize component specifications including connector types, wire gauges, and routing.
• Design and integrate electrical racks, battery systems, and ancillary devices such as breakers, fuses, relays, and bus bars.
• Manage sensor and cabling selection alongside the layout of electrical cabinets and panels.
• Lead the release process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electrical system design and development, preferably in automotive or aerospace.
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design, such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.
• Experience with simulation tools including SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or PLECS.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical architectures and communication protocols like CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal processing.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 26262.
• Ability to create and maintain schematics, technical specifications, and test plans.
• Experience sourcing components and working directly with suppliers.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
