Description

Lead electrical feature development from early-stage design through production, managing upgrades and migration plans.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level network, wiring, and power distribution topologies, schematics, and block diagrams.
• Allocate features across electronic modules to meet cost, quality, and performance targets.
• Write feature specifications, Failure Mode Avoidance documentation, and verification plans.
• Review existing system designs to identify opportunities for cost or quality improvements.
• Collaborate with program teams and suppliers to resolve competing requirements and implement new technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Systems Engineering.
• Deep understanding of the Systems V Model.
• Hands-on experience with Electrical Design and Requirements (D&R).
• Proficiency in writing specifications, requirements, DFMEA, and test plans.
• Experience with vehicle electrical systems or specific feature development.
• Knowledge of HIL-based validation.
• Basic understanding of Functional Safety for managing and tracking activities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using MagicDraw to maintain System Engineering Artifacts and generate specifications.
