Description

You will support the engineering process for producing railway vehicles and components through rigorous testing and commissioning phases.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing and troubleshooting to identify root causes of failures and document all results.
• Write, review, and update test procedures, assessing their technical feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements through coordinated testing and documentation.
• Operate CAD software and engineering equipment to perform technical tasks.
• Identify necessary test equipment and generate material order sheets for procurement.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Practical knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Experience or ability to learn rail vehicle operation, testing, and maintenance.
• Proficiency with CAD or related engineering software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong task management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to travel to domestic and international destinations.
• Ability to commute to El Segundo or Palmdale as required.
