Lead the development and optimization of electrolytes for lithium-ion energy storage cells in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities
Formulate and evaluate electrolytes and additives to improve rate capability, cycle life, and safety.
Develop advanced characterization techniques to assess formulation properties and full cell performance.
Investigate the relationship between electrolyte properties, SEI formation, and electrode performance.
Analyze in-line process, metrology, and electrical test data to inform development cycles.
Define the development roadmap for electrolyte and battery cell technology.
Required Skills
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
5+ years of experience working on lithium-ion batteries in academia or industry.
Demonstrated experience in electrolyte formulation and characterization.
Deep understanding of electrolyte development for various anode/cathode chemistries, including high voltage and temperature performance.
Expertise in electrochemical techniques such as LSV, CV, EIS, and HPPC.
Hands-on experience with material characterization including Karl Fisher titration, ionic conductivity measurement, FTIR, NMR, GC-MS, ICP, SEM/EDX, and XPS.
Experience with experimental design and data analysis using JMP, Tableau, R, or Python.
Proven track record in process development and integration.
Preferred Skills
Experience defining technology roadmaps for battery systems.
