Description

You will focus on the testing and validation of electronic systems, specifically firmware, high-speed digital, and analog electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test strategies and methodologies for hardware and firmware.
  • Execute test plans and procedures for electronic components and systems.
  • Perform firmware validation to ensure functionality, reliability, and specification compliance.
  • Test high-speed digital and analog electronic circuits.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers on resolution.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and environments.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in electronics testing and validation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in firmware validation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed digital and analog electronics testing.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Proficiency in automated test equipment (ATE) and developing test fixtures.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, and USB.
  • Experience with debugging techniques for embedded systems.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages like Python or LabVIEW.

Preferred Skills

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with EMC/EMI testing, FPGA testing, or thermal and environmental testing.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods for test data and industry standards like ISO or IEC.
