You will focus on the testing and validation of electronic systems, specifically firmware, high-speed digital, and analog electronics.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test strategies and methodologies for hardware and firmware.
- Execute test plans and procedures for electronic components and systems.
- Perform firmware validation to ensure functionality, reliability, and specification compliance.
- Test high-speed digital and analog electronic circuits.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers on resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and environments.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in electronics testing and validation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in firmware validation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of high-speed digital and analog electronics testing.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Proficiency in automated test equipment (ATE) and developing test fixtures.
- Knowledge of communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, and USB.
- Experience with debugging techniques for embedded systems.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages like Python or LabVIEW.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with EMC/EMI testing, FPGA testing, or thermal and environmental testing.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods for test data and industry standards like ISO or IEC.
