Description

You will manage and support production Elasticsearch clusters and the ELK stack, ensuring data integrity and system performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage the ELK stack to process data from multiple sources.
• Configure Elasticsearch index settings, including shard management and aliases.
• Design Kibana visualization strategies and controls for business intelligence.
• Optimize SQL queries and manage data integration via Elastic APIs.
• Provide production support for elastic applications, including weekend on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Elasticsearch in production with medium to large clusters.
• 5+ years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence.
• 6 years of programming experience.
• Proficiency with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Strong SQL skills and query optimization experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with buffering tools such as Kafka or Redis.
• Knowledge of security and access management concepts.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 10 years of related experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Amazon Elasticsearch, Elastic Cloud, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
