Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of the ELK Stack to deliver enterprise-wide observability, logging, and monitoring capabilities.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the observability strategy by translating business requirements into scalable dashboards, alerts, and reporting solutions.
• Drive performance optimization and reliability of Elasticsearch clusters for high-volume data ingestion, storage, and retrieval.
• Oversee data ingestion pipelines using Logstash to ensure robust, scalable data flow from heterogeneous sources.
• Enable advanced observability use cases by delivering analytics and visualizations in Kibana for IT operations and incident response.
• Establish best practices for security, data governance, and compliance within the ELK ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Deep expertise in distributed architecture, cluster design, and search/index optimization (Query DSL, Aggregations).
• Proficiency in performance tuning, scaling, ILM, data streams, and sharding strategies.
• Experience integrating observability into CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with AIOps and ITOM solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
