Description

You will administer and optimize the Elastic Stack for logging use cases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats for logging.
• Implement Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies, snapshots, and searchable snapshots.
• Design and implement Hot-Warm-Cold architecture for scalable data management.
• Architect and size Elasticsearch clusters based on performance needs.
• Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible and shell scripts.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Experience configuring index templates for consistency.
• Integrate Logstash, Kafka, and Beats for data ingestion.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana issues.
• Experience utilizing Git for version control and collaborative configuration.
• Familiarity with Unix Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of Python and/or Ruby.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
