Description

Develop and optimize low-level Android services for automotive applications, owning the stack from Java to embedded C/C++.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native C/C++ services using the Android NDK.
• Implement and debug Linux device drivers and Android HAL/HIDL components.
• Optimize Android framework architecture, focusing on connectivity, camera, or IPC via Android Binder.
• Work across the stack from Android Java to low-level embedded systems.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of professional experience in Android NDK development within the automotive domain.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Extensive experience with Android internals and framework services.
• Hands-on experience with Android Binder and inter-process communication.
• Working knowledge of Android HAL/HIDL and Linux device drivers.
• Strong understanding of Android framework architecture.
• PMP Certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
