Description

You will own embedded Android development, focusing on security patch integration, GMS issue resolution, and system stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and apply monthly Security Patches and GMS packages from Qualcomm and Google, performing rigorous sanity tests.
• Resolve GMS issues for every 2-3 day development tag and validate Qualcomm monthly releases.
• Analyze WhiteSource reports for OSS libraries, apply patches, and test impacted areas.
• Debug and resolve unique crashes, Tombstones, kernel panics, and ANRs from the Device Health Fault Management Portal.
• Resolve SonarQube and Klocwork issues and fix security vulnerabilities detected via Mobfs tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Experience handling monthly Security Patches and GMS packages.
• Proven ability to resolve GMS issues across development tags.
• Experience with Qualcomm releases and sanity testing.
• Experience resolving SonarQube and Klocwork issues.
• Familiarity with WhiteSource analysis for OSS libraries.
• Experience resolving security vulnerabilities using Mobfs tools.
• Strong debugging skills for crashes, Tombstones, kernel panics, and ANRs.
