Description

You will lead technical direction and manage small engineering teams for router platform development.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily work and technical output of 3 to 5 team members.
• Architect and develop software for router platforms.
• Oversee integration within large open-source software projects.
• Configure Linux bootloaders, flash partitions, BSPs, and device drivers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience managing small engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience specifically in router platform development.
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols: IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, ARP, STP, IGMP, DSCP, VLAN, UPnP, SSDP, MLDv2, TCP, and UDP.
• Knowledge of WiFi standards including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, WPA2, WPA3, and WMM.
• Experience with build and package management systems such as OpenWrt, Buildroot, or Yocto Project.
• Proficiency with Linux bootloaders, flash partitions, BSPs, and device driver configuration.
• Experience contributing to large open-source software projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IPv6, MLDv2, and WPA3.
