Description

You will lead firmware architecture design for motor control algorithms and power conversion systems in the automotive domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect firmware for BLDC/PMSM motor control algorithms, including sensor-based and sensorless implementations.
• Design firmware for 8/16/32-bit microcontroller platforms and DC-DC converters.
• Develop communication protocols including CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and LIN.
• Implement low-level drivers for ADC, EEPROM, FLASH, and LCD displays.
• Own the full SDLC from requirements through implementation and functional testing.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in embedded firmware design for motor control.
• Strong C programming skills for embedded systems.
• Experience with 32-bit target debugging using tools like Trace32.
• Proficiency in communication protocols: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and LIN.
• Hands-on experience with software configuration tools such as ClearCase, GIT, or SVN.
• Experience with automotive testing tools like CANalyzer or CANape.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and French.
• Degree in EC, EE, or Instrumentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Model Based Development (MBD) and MATLAB simulation.
• Knowledge of RTOS, FuSA, DOORS, ASPICE, and AUTOSAR.
