Description

You will design and execute automated test plans for embedded C++ and Linux systems, owning the validation lifecycle from Python scripting to GitHub issue triage.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python for embedded software validation.
• Analyze system-level feature design documentation to create comprehensive validation plans.
• Triage and troubleshoot GitHub issues, coordinating with global machine, systems, and software teams.
• Propose technical solutions when features fail test criteria, ensuring robust release quality.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in embedded software testing or validation.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automated test scripting and tool development.
• Hands-on experience with C++ and Linux environments.
• Ability to interpret system-level design documentation and translate it into test cases.
• Familiarity with Datalink test equipment and hardware-in-the-loop validation.
• Experience working in Agile sprint environments with GitHub for issue tracking and resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field (or Master’s with 5 years’ experience).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Functional Safety (FuSa) and Safety of the Intended Function (SOTIF).
• Experience with Detect sensors, Robotics, or autonomy systems.
