Description

You will design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for distribution and industrial product lines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug firmware features for small modules or large embedded components.
• Integrate software packages with existing systems and subsystems.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing, best practices, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet project requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare engineering documentation including design documents and release reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of embedded development experience.
• Hands-on C++ Version 17 programming and object-oriented design.
• Experience with Linux, including kernel drivers, systems, Docker, and Bash.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
• Experience in application firmware development and HW/SW interfacing.
• Understanding of real-time design considerations.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
