Description

You will design, develop, and test embedded software and firmware for distribution and industrial product lines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug firmware features for modules or entire embedded software products.
• Integrate software packages with existing systems and subsystems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet project requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and following Agile processes.
• Prepare engineering documentation including design documents and release reports.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of embedded development experience.
• Hands-on C++17 programming skills and understanding of object-oriented design.
• Experience with Linux, including kernel drivers, systems, Docker, and Bash.
• Practical knowledge of hardware-software interfacing and real-time design considerations.
• Experience in application firmware development.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
• Exposure to Yocto build systems, CI/CD, and automated software unit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing multithreaded, multitasking real-time applications.
• Proficiency in debugging code using emulators, simulators, and software analysis tools.
• Experience across all phases of the product engineering and development cycle.
