Description

You will design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for heavy mining equipment including trucks, shovels, and underground machines.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine software features and manage subsystem diagrams and libraries.
• Integrate models and libraries to generate software flash files.
• Integrate configuration and calibration data into embedded systems.
• Create test plans and perform validation to resolve defects.
• Document releases and communicate technical details for field updates.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C for embedded systems.
• Experience with configuration management tools (ClearCase or Git).
• Hands-on experience with debuggers and compilers.
• Experience performing unit testing for embedded control systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C++, Matlab/Simulink, or AutoSar.
• Knowledge of CAN, J1939, or other data link communications.
