Description

You will develop and test firmware for land, air, and sea-based robotics platforms. You own the software lifecycle from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software across multiple robotics projects.
• Implement algorithms for internal systems and client-facing applications.
• Create prototypes and proof of concepts for new product features.
• Maintain code and technical documentation using version control systems.
• Work across the full robotics stack to solve complex technical problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in firmware or embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with hardware including motors, controllers, sensors, and industrial manipulators.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with middleware including MQTT, DDS, ROS, or ROS2.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like TCP, UDP, and RS232/422/485.
• Familiarity with OpenCV, PCL, CUDA, AI, machine learning, or image processing.
