Description

Design and develop embedded software and firmware for highly regulated environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and firmware using C and C++.
• Develop, execute, and report on unit test cases.
• Create and update technical design documentation.
• Perform code analysis, issue identification, and resolution.
• Modify and develop device drivers for peripherals including USB and UART.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in embedded software and firmware design.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with RTOS-based embedded software.
• Experience in the medical device industry or other highly regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of peripheral drivers including UART and USB.
• Experience using Git and Jira for software configuration management.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to work with code analyzers for issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to IEC 62304 medical device regulatory standards.
