Description

You will design, develop, and deploy embedded systems software for motorcycle components, including battery monitoring, motor controllers, and rider interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level system architecture for sensor inputs, high-current busses, and gauges.
• Develop, test, and debug systems software and functional test systems.
• Integrate new product designs and interface directly with hardware development teams.
• Optimize I/O performance, system resource efficiency, stability, and scalability.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct peer reviews of designs and specifications.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of professional engineering experience in embedded systems software and hardware.
• Extensive development experience in C and C++ environments.
• Proven experience with multitasking real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting embedded targets using UART, JTAG, and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design and reading schematics or data sheets.
• Experience with wireless communication protocols such as 3GPP, 802.11, or Bluetooth.
• Proficiency in OS coding techniques, IP protocols, and hardware subsystems.
• Experience with software configuration management and defect tracking tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automotive powertrain or EV systems.
• Knowledge of power electronics.
• Familiarity with SEI CMMI policies and procedures.
