Description

You will develop and sustain firmware for downhole embedded systems and related surface equipment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop single or multi-controller embedded systems and firmware for downhole oil services equipment.
• Design firmware architectures focused on high reliability for sensor data acquisition and algorithmic processing.
• Create test plans, unit test cases, and perform board or system-level integration testing.
• Document technical requirements, specifications, user guides, and Engineering Change Requests.
• Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to resolve technical issues and refine requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in C and Assembly programming.
• Strong microcontroller interfacing and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of digital electronics and analog circuitry.
• Experience with electronic, firmware, and software integration testing.
• Ability to write detailed technical documentation and requirement specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
